An Environmental Issue

Every year thousands of tons of empty toner and inkjet cartridges are disposed of and end up in our nation's landfills. The number is expected to grow significantly in the years ahead. The plastic used in each printer cartridge takes more than ten centuries to decompose. As a result, recycling these cartridges is an important environmental issue.

Save Our Environment

Fortunately, toner cartridges are one of the most convenient office products to recycle.

A typical toner cartridge weights about three pounds. That equates to about 120 million pounds of recyclable material that can be diverted from landfills each year with widespread use of cartridge recycling programs. More than one pint of oil is required to produce each brand new laser cartridge. Recycling can save millions of gallons of oil every year.

Help Our Community

The process of recycling has many benefits including savings to the consumer and relief to the environment. Participation in our recycling program does not prevent you from using new cartridges.

You can also help our community by participating in our recycling program. We will donate to your nominated charity for every recyclable cartridge collected from you. (See how much do we donate for every empty toner cartridge collected from you?) You can even encourage your employees, colleagues, families and friends to bring in their used cartridges from home.

Not all cartridge types can be recycled, but if you collect all cartridges, those that can't be recycled will be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.

Collection Program

There is very little for you to do.

We will pick up your cartridges for free and all you have to do is to follow the requirement below:

	Fill in the Empty Laser Toner Cartridge Pickup Booking Form
	Minimum of 5 Laser cartridges per box
	Cartridges should be individually wrapped using wrapping paper, newspaper, zip-lock bags,
	or placing them back in their original box.
	Boxes should be packed securely & tightly to prevent cartridges from being bounced
	around during shipment

K Plus will provide you with all the information you need and help you set it up. Fax the prepared pickup booking form to us and we will do the rest. We will then collect your boxes, sort through the cartridges and donate to your nominated charity to help those in need. A copy of receipt of the donation will be provided upon request.

The process is fast, simple and convenient.
